Job Summary

Verify production processes, packaging, food safety, and operational sanitation in a poultry/food facility. Monitor lines and documentation for specification compliance, enforce GMPs, and verify labels, lot codes, materials, and palletization. Support inventory control and release of hold product, perform microbiological swabs and samplings, and help teams resolve day-to-day quality issues while following company, NCC Animal Welfare, and all applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Verify production processes, packaging, and food safety, including monitoring operational sanitation.
•Maintain proper documentation, inventory control, and release of hold product.
•Monitor lines and paperwork throughout the day to ensure specification compliance for each product.
•Verify GMPs and check labels, lot codes, bags, boxes, and pallets for correct adherence, printing, sealing, and stacking.
•Assist with quality issues by supporting production teams with workable solutions, including microbiological swabs and samplings at correct times/positions.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Minimum 1 year experience in quality assurance (or 6 months as a Wayne Farms employee).
•Intermediate math skills and computer skills.
•Strong attention to detail.
•Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written); ability to communicate in multiple languages is preferred.
