Key Responsibilities

  • •Own stock-based compensation accounting, equity reconciliations, EPS and dilution calculations, and equity-related SEC disclosures.
  • •Lead the preparation and filing of Forms 10-Q and 10-K, financial statement footnotes, MD&A, and XBRL tagging.
  • •Serve as the primary accounting partner for external auditors and maintain SOX controls while evaluating new standards and SEC requirements.
  • •Partner with Payroll, Legal, and Stock Administration to ensure accurate recording of equity transactions and alignment between cap table, equity systems, and the general ledger.
  • •Lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of Workiva (or similar) to build scalable reporting workflows and automate manual processes.

Key Requirements

  • •CPA required (or actively pursuing).
  • •10+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant SEC reporting exposure (public company or Big 4/SEC clients).
  • •Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and XBRL.
  • •Hands-on experience with equity accounting including stock-based compensation, EPS, and APIC roll-forwards.
  • •Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite).
