Key Responsibilities

  • •Own Kaizen’s events strategy end-to-end, building and running the annual calendar anchored to the federal buying year.
  • •Evaluate conferences and sponsorships, negotiate participation details, and decide where Kaizen shows up or doesn’t.
  • •Own the physical presence for events, including booth design, demo staging, collateral, swag, and production partners/vendors.
  • •Run field motion alongside sales: account targeting, pre-event outreach, on-site meeting scheduling, travel/staffing, and follow-up.
  • •Own owned and satellite programming (e.g., executive dinners, agency roundtables, closed-door briefings) and deliver budget reporting tied to pipeline and qualified meetings, with support from Legal on ethics compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •4-10 years in events, experiential marketing, or field marketing with direct ownership of strategy and budget.
  • •Demonstrated experience owning a conference circuit, including selecting shows and evaluating sponsorship value and booth build/operations.
  • •Experience running events for federal or public sector buyers, plus relationships with venues, producers, and association organizers.
