Key Responsibilities

  • •Write clear, accurate, and compelling user-interface copy across nytimes.com and the NYT app.
  • •Manage inbound UX writing requests, prioritizing tasks and assigning overflow projects as needed.
  • •Maintain quality and consistency across projects and teams, stewarding brand voice and adherence to style guidelines.
  • •Apply brand voice across wayfinding, enhancements, paywalls/payflows, adjusting tone for different moments and tools.
  • •Mentor in-house writers and manage a small team of freelance UX writers, coordinating projects and developing standards and workflows.
