Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide electrical discipline design support across a wide range of facility and infrastructure projects.
  • •Assist with developing electrical deliverables including diagrams, grounding designs, lightning protection analysis, lighting design, and equipment layouts.
  • •Perform electrical engineering calculations such as load analysis, short circuit analysis, arc flash analysis, voltage drop, motor starting, grounding potentials, and protective coordination.
  • •Support development of electrical contract documents including plans and specifications.
  • •Participate in cross-functional project teams, including construction support activities and preparation of technical reports/presentations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent.
  • •3–5 years of relevant post-education experience as an electrical engineer delivering designs for capital projects.
  • •Working knowledge of electrical engineering laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
  • •Ability to pass a security background check to access facilities, requiring US citizenship.
  • •Experience using NEC, ANSI/IEEE standards, NFPA standards, and ICC codes, and ability to perform technical computations and electrical engineering calculations.
