Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center to safely meet production and quality goals.
  • •Oversee day-to-day team activities, assess strengths/weaknesses, and implement improvement steps.
  • •Train and develop production associates using quality control standards to complete repairs effectively the first time, minimizing re-checks.
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory, and partner with the General Manager to repair or reject inventory based on estimated repair costs and overall quality.
  • •Ensure adherence to safety, systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards while preventing and resolving team conflicts.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •Experience using computers.
  • •Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • •Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process and an understanding of reconditioning processes and lean principles.
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUIs and no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years).
