Lead and grow the Rock Drilling Tools and Ground Support business line across East and Central Africa from Chingola, Zambia. Own business performance and strategy by driving revenue, profitability, market share, and customer share. Identify new opportunities, expand key accounts, and strengthen trusted customer partnerships. Ensure operational and commercial excellence through pricing discipline, forecasting, portfolio and inventory management. Inspire and develop a diverse team while championing SHEQ compliance and governance.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive business performance by leading revenue growth, profitability, market share, and customer share initiatives across the region.
•Develop business plans and manage budgeting, forecasting, and operational reviews to meet or exceed financial and performance goals.
•Identify and pursue new business opportunities, craft strategies to capture key accounts, and expand market segments through collaboration with Country Managers and cross-functional teams.
•Ensure operational and commercial excellence through portfolio management, disciplined pricing, accurate forecasting, and optimization of inventory management.
•Lead and develop the team, set measurable objectives, support succession planning, and champion safety culture and SHEQ compliance.

Key Requirements

•8-10 years of progressive experience in business line management, commercial leadership, technical sales, or related roles in mining, construction, heavy equipment, or industrial sectors.
•Proven track record of delivering profitable growth, expanding market share, and enhancing customer engagement in regional or multi-country contexts.
•Experience leading teams within matrix organizational structures and influencing stakeholders across diverse geographies.
•Proven expertise in solution selling and business development in technically demanding environments.
•Strong commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and ability to make data-driven decisions aligned to short- and long-term business objectives.
