Key Requirements

  • •You are an independent journalist, or employed at a newsroom and willing to provide a yearlong sabbatical.
  • •An investigative story idea or area of focus you can pitch, including what would be new and what should be revealed.
  • •Experience covering a beat and an investigative story idea you had not had the time, resources, or editing support to pursue.
  • •Submit five published clips demonstrating excellence in evocative writing and high-impact news storytelling.
