Key Responsibilities

•Supervise Survey Crew (1-2 staff crews) and ensure accurate, organized field notes and reporting.
•Operate and maintain robotic instruments, total stations, data collectors, GPS (RTK/VRS), and digital levels to collect precise survey data.
•Collaborate with office staff and other professionals to incorporate historical data and ensure compliance with standards, codes, and construction specifications.
•Assist in writing surveying reports with photographs, sketches, calculations, and 2D/3D illustrations; maintain clear documentation.
•Ensure daily safety compliance and timely communication with clients and project teams.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent
•5+ years of relevant post-education experience in surveying with easements, rights of way, plats, topographic surveys, boundary surveys, property descriptions, and GPS surveys
•Excellent communication skills and field note taking; able to work as a one-person crew when needed
•Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be physically mobile around construction sites
•Experience with both public and private sector work and willingness to travel as projects dictate
