Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise Survey Crew (1-2 staff crews) and ensure accurate, organized field notes and reporting.
  • •Operate and maintain robotic instruments, total stations, data collectors, GPS (RTK/VRS), and digital levels to collect precise survey data.
  • •Collaborate with office staff and other professionals to incorporate historical data and ensure compliance with standards, codes, and construction specifications.
  • •Assist in writing surveying reports with photographs, sketches, calculations, and 2D/3D illustrations; maintain clear documentation.
  • •Ensure daily safety compliance and timely communication with clients and project teams.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent
  • •5+ years of relevant post-education experience in surveying with easements, rights of way, plats, topographic surveys, boundary surveys, property descriptions, and GPS surveys
  • •Excellent communication skills and field note taking; able to work as a one-person crew when needed
  • •Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be physically mobile around construction sites
  • •Experience with both public and private sector work and willingness to travel as projects dictate
