Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end technical solutions, designing, documenting, and implementing complex backend developer experience and infrastructure projects.
  • •Drive projects from initial design docs through stakeholder buy-in, implementation, testing, rollout, adoption, and long-term operation.
  • •Build developer-facing tools and automation, including self-service platforms, services, and CLIs that reduce dependency on platform teams.
  • •Improve Python and Java backend engineer workflows across local development, IDEs, dependency management, builds, testing, CI/CD, and releases.
  • •Develop monitoring, alerting, telemetry, and diagnostic tools to proactively surface issues, using real developer feedback to prioritize improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong background in Platform Engineering, Developer Experience, or backend software engineering with substantial hands-on Python and/or Java experience.
  • •Proven track record building and operating production backend systems, developer tooling, or internal platforms at scale.
  • •Experience supporting large engineering organizations of 1,000+ engineers.
  • •Strong experience with AWS or GCP and thorough Kubernetes production experience.
  • •Built and maintained CI/CD pipelines at scale using Buildkite, Jenkins, GitLab CI (or similar), and experience with Bazel or Gradle (monorepo build tools).
