Key Responsibilities

  • •Adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures.
  • •Smooth and finish poured concrete surfaces (floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, curbs) using hand and power tools.
  • •Prepare surfaces before pouring concrete, including levelling, grading, removing debris, and setting forms/moulds.
  • •Read and understand directions for patching materials and blueprints.
  • •Layout and install joints and anchors (including Hilti epoxy and/or wet setting), and apply over coating to resurface and restore surfaces.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 51.09 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Interprovincial Red Seal Cement Mason or Concrete Finisher Certification.
  • •Experience performing industrial maintenance work (asset).
  • •Ability to read and understand blueprints, patching material directions, and install joints (expansion/contraction).
  • •Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (asset).
  • •Valid driver’s license and strong interpersonal/communication skills.
