Job Summary

Experienced Airfield Civil Engineer leading multidisciplinary design teams on UK and international aviation projects. You will manage technical design delivery, coordinate stakeholders, monitor performance, and ensure cost, quality, and schedule targets while upholding health and safety and contract requirements. A Chartered or Incorporated background is preferred, with focus on airfield civil engineering, risks, and program management.

Key Responsibilities

•Take ownership for the successful delivery of airfield civil engineering projects.
•Manage and coordinate design teams, and effectively communicate with all parties.
•Identify and manage design risks.
•Plan and monitor the performance of projects throughout the project lifecycle.
•Ensure all deliverables and milestones are achieved to cost/quality/time targets.

Key Requirements

•University degree relevant to civil engineering, construction, design or related discipline
•Chartered or Incorporated Status (MICE, MCIHT or equivalent) or equivalent demonstrable experience preferable
•Experience of large, technically complex multi-disciplinary airfield civil engineering projects
•Understanding of client needs and the business when delivering a major project with focus on margin and contract compliance
•Knowledge of construction contracts (i.e. NEC) and processes preferable
