Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, mentor, and coach the Networking team in Amsterdam delivering foundational infrastructure services for the core platform.
  • •Design, implement, and optimize Adyen networking infrastructure and drive the team’s technical direction.
  • •Work with project managers, vendors, and other teams to ensure successful deployment of networking infrastructure.
  • •Set clear individual and team goals aligned with strategic engineering ambitions in collaboration with the product manager.
  • •Take responsibility for operation and improvement of the networking team, maintaining sources of truth, performance/health metrics, and the appliance lifecycle.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience managing and optimizing global network infrastructure environments.
  • •Strong knowledge of networking protocols and architectures including EVPN, IS-IS, MPLS, Segment Routing, and firewalling.
  • •Strong knowledge of the Linux networking stack.
  • •Proven experience coaching, leading, and mentoring engineering talent.
  • •Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible and Puppet.
