Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct site inspections for municipal construction projects (storm/sanitary sewers, water distribution, roadways) and advise on non-compliance.
  • •Review and interpret contract documents and contract drawings.
  • •Coordinate and monitor the material testing/quality control program completed by others.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience as a Construction Inspector on municipal infrastructure projects.
  • •Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build constructive on-site relationships.
  • •Preferably solid knowledge of the Department of Transportation & Infrastructure Municipal Water, Sewer and Roads Master Construction Specifications.
  • •A valid driver’s licence and a clean Driver’s Abstract.
  • •Ability to conduct inspections, interpret contract documents/drawings, and provide compliance observations.
