Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and maintain backend connectivity services that power millions of VMs on the Databricks platform
  • •Lead the design and development of services connecting the control plane and compute plane
  • •Drive scalability improvements for the compute plane and efficient cloud resource usage
  • •Collaborate with product management, operations, and other engineering teams to deliver robust networking systems
  • •Tackle novel multi-cloud and distributed systems challenges in a fast-paced environment

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of production level experience in one of: Python, Java, Scala, C++, or similar language
  • •7+ years of experience developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch
  • •Experience working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures
  • •Extensive experience working in the Networking domain
