Manage loading and unloading with the loading crew, maintain required delivery paperwork (invoices and bills of lading), and support routine vehicle checks and yard trailer organization at the Yakima facility.

Job Function: Transportation & Fleet Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Operate vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
•Transport loads safely and in a timely manner while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
•Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
•Assist with loading/unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment as needed; unload empty skids.
•Maintain signed invoices and shipping bills of lading and other required paperwork; deliver documentation when the route is complete; facilitate routine truck service and arrange trailers in shipping yards.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Must hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license depending on state, appropriate for the weight of vehicle operated.
•Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state DOT regulations.
•Must pass a DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10k lbs).
•Must be at least 21 years old to operate the company vehicle.
•Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to remain focused in a busy environment.
