Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and own the multi-year technology strategy and roadmap for Insurance Commercial and Risk, spanning pricing, product design, risk management, and capital/ALM.
  • •Lead prioritization and governance across the portfolio, balancing near-term operational needs with long-term platform modernization.
  • •Partner with Commercial/Business Development, actuarial pricing, product development, capital markets, and enterprise risk management teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
  • •Lead the product lifecycle for the portfolio, including requirements gathering, vendor selection, design/configuration, testing, rollout, change management, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • •Champion modernization and AI-enabled transformation, ensuring regulatory compliance and implementing controls, access models, and risk mitigation protocols across the pricing and risk data lifecycle.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years leading system implementations, product management, technology delivery, or transformation roles, ideally in life insurance, annuities, reinsurance, or large insurance environments.
  • •Proven experience building and leading product and delivery teams and personally delivering enterprise insurance risk technology programs at scale across multiple geographies.
  • •Deep domain expertise across the block acquisition, pricing, and product development lifecycle (block due diligence and pricing, flow pricing, retail pricing, product design, market/trend analysis, enterprise risk management, and capital/ALM).
  • •Technical fluency with enterprise insurance pricing and risk platforms plus identity and access management, data governance, workflow automation, and AI/ML tools for pricing and risk use cases.
  • •Knowledge of GAAP and statutory accounting principles, NAIC/state insurance regulatory requirements, and capital/solvency regulations as they relate to insurance pricing and risk technology.
