Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker I in a Financial Center setting, using a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to understand customer needs and recommend retail consumer and small business solutions. Build new households and deepen relationships through lobby/aisle presence, tele-consulting, and appointment setting using CAMP and approved marketing tools. Support cross-selling, coordinate referrals with business partners, meet production goals, and maintain risk, compliance, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete onboarding and education rotations (4-8 weeks) to become a Retail Personal Banker I and demonstrate required skills through certification.
•Use consultative sales and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain product/service knowledge and recommend appropriate retail solutions using the bank’s value proposition.
•Proactively reach out using CAMP and other approved marketing tools to set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers, support outside sales/community events, refer to business partners, process teller transactions, and help achieve Financial Center P&L production goals while following risk/compliance policies.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience with transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Ability to develop comfort level with sales activities to acquire new households and cross-sell to existing customers.
•Demonstrated understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•Ability to obtain required S.A.F.E. Act registration through NMLS at the time of employment.
