Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in the daily start-of-shift meeting and actively contribute to safety discussions.
  • •Verify supplier invoices to ensure delivered parts and quantities are accurate.
  • •Record received parts in SAP from the suppliers’ warehouse and manage emails from the site, suppliers, and Simfer team.
  • •Ensure physical stock management and issue parts in SAP while reporting to the supervisor any safety-related incidents or events.
  • •Work as part of the warehouse team in Conakry under the warehouse supervisor.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a diploma in logistics or a related field with prior experience in warehouse or store management.
  • •Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety in daily operations and high-risk activities.
  • •Interact proactively with customers while representing expected Rio Tinto and Simfer employee behaviors and values.
  • •Show high attention to detail and accuracy, strong teamwork and collaboration, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • •Be proficient with tools including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and have experience working with SAP; preference for bilingual candidates (French and English).
