Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure a safe, clean, functional, and compliant environment by driving the Safety agenda and operational risk management.
  • •Initiate and perform safety and security risk assessments, lead the H&S training calendar, and develop/update H&S SOPs.
  • •Manage fire protection systems/programs, ensure first aid and fire marshal readiness, and keep third parties aligned with IKEA H&S rules.
  • •Coach and develop co-workers and external partners, plan emergency response, and investigate incidents with recommended improvements.
  • •Monitor safety through site inspections and reporting, approve safety drawings, and support government compliance and operational reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Engineering or Science degree in Health and Safety or occupational safety.
  • •NEBOSH, IOSH, or NASP certification preferred.
  • •At least 3-5 years of experience in health, safety, and environment.
  • •Familiarity with TBT (Safety Talk), OSHA and HSE codes, and local/international standards such as NFPA and IEC.
  • •Proficiency in risk management and operational safety procedures.
