Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end IFRS 17 actuarial production, including review, sign-off coordination, and timely submission of IFRS 17 results and disclosures.
  • •Provide accountability for CSM engine run governance and ensure effective interfaces between actuarial models, the CSM engine, and the finance ledger/reporting layer.
  • •Lead period-on-period movement analysis and management commentary for items such as CSM roll-forward, insurance revenue, fulfilment cash flows, and variances.
  • •Enhance controls across data, assumptions, model changes, and outputs to support integrity, traceability, and audit-ready documentation; manage audit queries and close findings.
  • •Lead, coach, and develop the IFRS reporting actuarial team, while governing IFRS 17 change delivery and optimizing processes via automation and streamlined workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •Solid experience in actuarial financial reporting and/or valuation with strong exposure to IFRS 17 reporting and close cycles.
  • •Fellow of the Society of Actuaries or another recognised actuarial body.
  • •Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline.
  • •Strong stakeholder management skills with a track record of building effective internal and external relationships.
  • •Strong analytical rigour and structured problem-solving, with clear communication in written and verbal formats.
