Job Summary

Deliver hands-on occupational hygiene, hazardous materials, Work Health and Safety (WHS), and environmental compliance services for clients across NSW and Australia. Conduct field inspections, monitoring and sampling, hazardous materials assessments (including asbestos and lead), air quality assessments, asbestos clearance inspections, and technical microbiological checks. Build trusted client relationships, support WHS legislation and best-practice guidance, and produce high-quality technical reports, clearance certificates, and management plans while working in a Newcastle-based EHS team.

•Work directly with clients to build and maintain trusted professional relationships.

Key Requirements

•Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Occupational Hygiene, WHS, or a related discipline.
•Demonstrated experience in asbestos and hazardous materials work, including a current Asbestos Assessor Licence (LAA) or willingness to work toward it.
•Strong technical report writing skills, preparing clear, well-structured reports and proposals.
•Hold a current, valid driver’s licence.
•Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, Australian Standards, and Codes of Practice, with broader APAC jurisdiction knowledge as an advantage.
