Job Summary

Lead the growth of the Development team by pursuing new business opportunities and building trusted relationships with public and private sector clients and stakeholders. Provide client-facing technical advice through planning and design processes, support and review multi-disciplinary bid submissions, and act as Project Director for major commissions. Coordinate with colleagues to share market intelligence and ensure the team complies with SHEQ and corporate responsibility requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify and pursue new business opportunities to win work and increase market share for the Development team.
•Set and agree growth targets and plans in partnership with the Regional Director for Development South and the local office lead.
•Liaise with public/private sector clients and stakeholders (e.g., local planning authorities) to build trusted relationships.
•Provide technical advice to clients and support them through the planning and design process.
•Lead and support bids and act as Project Director for major projects, ensuring compliance with SHEQ and corporate responsibility.
