Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, automate, maintain, and enhance BI products end-to-end, including requirements gathering, programming/data pulling, ETL, delivery, and documentation.
  • •Use SQL, SAS, and future Python to ensure consistent definitions, process governance, and operational efficiency for BI product delivery.
  • •Optimize BI solution performance (query tuning, extract strategies, aggregations, incremental refresh patterns) and support scalability.
  • •Translate user stories and acceptance criteria into technical design and build tasks, providing LOE estimates and identifying dependencies/risks.
  • •Act as an SME and consultant by clarifying business questions, proposing BI solutions (dashboards, datasets, alerting, standardized reports), documenting metric definitions and applying access/security requirements.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years creating BI, reporting, and data visualization solutions using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools, including performance, usability, and basic security/access concepts.
  • •4+ years with SAS programming and relational databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) for validation, reconciliation, and data-driven decisioning.
  • •Deep understanding of data modeling (schemas, dimensional modeling basics) and data warehousing fundamentals (data lakes, Snowflake, AWS Redshift).
  • •Experience with data warehousing/lakehouse concepts, ETL patterns, scheduling and troubleshooting production jobs.
  • •Ability to partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify definitions, and translate needs into appropriate BI solutions.
