Job Summary

Ambitious litigation professional to manage litigated RTA fraud files for Davies’ counter-fraud division. You will run fraud cases from initial litigation through to resolution, setting case strategy with Lead Lawyer, adhering to process stages, and identifying strategic opportunities. The role combines analytical review, client-facing liaison, and timely, commercially aware decision making within a market-leading UK team.

Key Responsibilities

•Run fraud cases from the point of litigation through to the resolution of the case, including strategic case management and adherence to defined processes
•Provide detailed review and analysis of evidence throughout the life of the case and set case strategy with clients and Lead Lawyer
•Liaise with insurers and other involved parties to carry out investigations and meet the set strategy while complying with deadlines
•Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of Case Management Systems and accurate client/internal MI and KPIs
•Demonstrate strong client care, commercial awareness and the ability to prioritise work under pressure

Key Requirements

•Experience in civil litigation claims handling / as a legal File Handler or suitably qualified (ILEX, LPC etc.)
•Qualified solicitor / CILEX with necessary practice rights is desirable but not essential
•Experience in handling linked and organised fraud is desirable but not essential
•Experience of handling RTA pre-litigated and/or litigated case load
•Knowledge of the litigation process / working knowledge of the CPR
