Job Summary

Join Fortinet EMEA Labs’ Software Engineering team as a senior full-stack developer on a six-person lab engineering group. You’ll design, develop, test, and document complex application modules that support network security infrastructure, translate requirements into implementation plans, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality releases. Own code reviews and quality practices, and tackle performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and technical debt.

Key Responsibilities

•Architect, develop, test, and document complex full-stack application modules aligned with cybersecurity and business objectives.
•Assess and evaluate new application ideas, translating requirements into actionable implementation plans.
•Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather and refine requirements and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
•Conduct thorough code reviews and enforce quality standards through unit testing, integration testing, and best practices.
•Identify, analyze, and resolve performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and technical debt within existing applications.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5 years of professional experience in full-stack development delivering production-grade web applications.
•Proven experience in a senior or lead technical role, including mentoring junior team members.
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
•Advanced proficiency in front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
•Strong proficiency in Python and Perl, plus experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and web services.
