Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform architectural planning and design, including configuration and integration support for wireless deployments.
  • •Provide operational support for complex WLAN network deployments, including performance engineering, fix and problem resolution.
  • •Identify and document design/architecture guidelines for global Cisco Services adoption.
  • •Collaborate with customer support, Cisco TAC, development engineering, and sales teams on complex network builds and WLAN-related projects.

Key Requirements

  • •BSEE/CS (or equivalent) plus confirmed ability in a network engineering or telecommunications support environment; MS strongly preferred.
  • •Deep technical account leadership skills in a network engineering/telecommunications support environment.
  • •In-depth wireless & RF expertise including Meraki dashboard; RF design, survey/engineering, and troubleshooting using Ekahau or Hamina.
  • •Strong IP network design skills and experience deploying Cisco Spaces and key WLAN applications such as Voice over WLAN, Context-Aware Location-Based Services, and Wireless Guest Access.
  • •Expert understanding of WLAN security and network management (including ISE and/or RADIUS) and inter-networking troubleshooting in large-scale networks.
