Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

•Provide and complete engineering reviews, designs, calculations and technical advisory tasks, meeting project technical requirements.
•Support project delivery excellence by ensuring technical verification tasks are completed within AECOM’s standards.
•Raise design discrepancies and contribute to problem solving in a collaborative team.
•Mentor graduate and early-stage career engineers to develop their technical and project abilities.
•Contribute to delivery excellence by upholding quality, safety, digital innovation and client satisfaction.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of demonstrated engineering experience in renewable energy projects across multiple technologies and OEMs (construction and commissioning experience valued)
•Electrical engineering qualification with knowledge of electrical balance of plant systems (AC and DC) and project interfaces
•Ability to own and complete detailed engineering, technical advisory and design work packages including reviews, site inspections and calculations
•Proactive problem solving with ability to work to client timelines, scopes and budgets independently
•Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary inputs; working towards professional registration on the National Engineering Register in Australia (e.g., RPEV or RPEQ) ideally with Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent
•Desire to grow technical knowledge and provide hands-on guidance to other engineers
