Key Responsibilities

  • •Own monthly close end-to-end, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, tax, and technical accounting to deliver accurate, timely financials.
  • •Design and document accounting controls, policies, and processes that scale with the business.
  • •Drive technical accounting decisions across revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, multi-entity reporting, and capitalization policies.
  • •Evaluate and implement scalable finance tools and systems (ERP, AP/AR, payroll, and adjacent platforms).
  • •Partner with Strategic Finance, Legal, and Operations on reporting packages, board/investor materials, and contract and financial control structures.

Key Requirements

  • •5–10 years of accounting experience, including Big 4 or equivalent audit experience.
  • •Deep working knowledge of US GAAP, financial controls, and technical accounting.
  • •Demonstrated experience implementing modern financial systems and ERPs such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Ramp, Bill, and Rippling.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication, translating complex financial insights into clear narrative.
  • •Experience standing up an accounting function from scratch in an early-stage or hyper-scaling company (bonus).
