Job Summary

Coordinate product operational activities to help new hardware, software, and networking changes move reliably from production and test environments into stable releases. Drive design-for-manufacturability (DFX) excellence for server products by reviewing and validating mechanical components, leading design reviews, and developing Integrated Level Assembly (ILA) governance. Partner with suppliers, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to execute production and build readiness plans and improve manufacturability, cycle time, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive design for manufacturability (DFX) by reviewing, analyzing, documenting, and validating mechanical components and assemblies with global manufacturing teams.
•Conduct design reviews to validate product robustness and performance while assessing operational feasibility and enabling new manufacturing processes for server products.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with suppliers, mechanical and electrical engineering, manufacturing, and quality to support development, qualification, and launch of new server products.
•Develop Integrated Level Assembly (ILA) documentation and governance for DFX review across manufacturing, test, assembly, and quality domains.
•Create production and build readiness plans aligned to product roadmaps using metrics, root cause analysis, and risk mitigation to improve manufacturability, cycle time, and product quality.

Key Requirements

•Strong expertise in mechanical development and DFX processes, with the ability to plan, execute, and deliver complex product development from concept through production.
•5+ years of mechanical design and engineering experience (or equivalent education/experience, e.g., Bachelor’s/Master’s).
•Technical leadership and cross-functional influence to drive alignment on critical requirements and optimize product designs and operational processes.
•Program execution and problem-solving to drive initiatives, resolve complex issues, manage trade-offs, and mitigate risks.
•Interpret product specifications and translate them into operational requirements while communicating across cross-functional teams.
