Key Responsibilities

  • •Validate reports, dashboards, and aggregated metrics by reconciling upstream APIs/raw source data and verifying calculations.
  • •Design and implement automated data quality checks (e.g., Soda expectations) for freshness, volume, distribution, and business expectations.
  • •Test Airflow DAGs and Databricks jobs, validating scheduling, dependencies, backfills, failure recovery, and pipeline data integrity.
  • •Develop automated and manual tests for REST and GraphQL APIs to validate business logic, data integrity, and reliability.
  • •Document investigations/defects clearly and collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Analytics to present quality risks and findings.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of QA experience and strong analytical/investigative mindset.
  • •Strong SQL skills to independently write complex queries.
  • •Experience validating data against an upstream source of truth and investigating reporting/data discrepancies.
  • •Comfortable working with raw API payloads, with experience testing REST APIs.
  • •2+ years of automation experience, including Playwright (or Selenium/Cypress with willingness to transition).
