Job Summary

Ensure SpaceX’s Starbase manufacturing site meets environmental, health, and safety requirements by performing on-the-ground hazard identification, exposure monitoring, and safety inspections. Support OSHA, TCEQ, RCRA, EPA, and DOT compliance, including hazardous waste handling, stormwater inspections, and spill prevention/response. Maintain required logs and documentation, assist investigations as needed, and help implement site safety policies and corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform boots-on-the-ground safety oversight by identifying and correcting workplace hazards and unsafe conditions.
•Monitor employee exposure to job and chemical hazards under OSHA permissible exposure limits.
•Assist with implementation and compliance of site-specific safety policies, including job hazard analysis and PPE assessments.
•Manage environmental compliance activities, including RCRA hazardous waste handling, storage, labeling, logs, inspections, and support for waste shipments.
•Perform stormwater inspections and spill response/prevention activities, including implementing SPCC across the facility, and conduct environmental compliance and due diligence audits.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
•2+ years of experience implementing and overseeing aspects of an environmental, health and safety program.
•Experience in managing hazardous waste storage and satellite accumulation areas.
•Experience implementing/developing health and safety plans and policies.
•Previous experience in a construction or industrial environment.
