Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform boots-on-the-ground safety oversight by identifying and correcting workplace hazards and unsafe conditions.
  • •Monitor employee exposure to job and chemical hazards under OSHA permissible exposure limits.
  • •Assist with implementation and compliance of site-specific safety policies, including job hazard analysis and PPE assessments.
  • •Manage environmental compliance activities, including RCRA hazardous waste handling, storage, labeling, logs, inspections, and support for waste shipments.
  • •Perform stormwater inspections and spill response/prevention activities, including implementing SPCC across the facility, and conduct environmental compliance and due diligence audits.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •2+ years of experience implementing and overseeing aspects of an environmental, health and safety program.
  • •Experience in managing hazardous waste storage and satellite accumulation areas.
  • •Experience implementing/developing health and safety plans and policies.
  • •Previous experience in a construction or industrial environment.
