Lead product strategy and development for Faire’s search algorithms, driving high-scale, ML-powered ranking and discovery. Collaborate with engineering, data science, design, and operations to improve retailer search experiences, define offline/online metrics, and balance velocity, scale, cost, and modularity while partnering with founders and the CEO to empower small businesses globally.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and execute a strategy to advance Faire’s search algorithms and overall discovery surface.
•Refine breakdown of search query segments, identify opportunities, and diagnose root causes of failure modes.
•Refine metrics (offline and online) to understand retailer search experience and component performance.
•Evaluate tradeoffs between velocity, scale, cost, and modularity of technical solutions.
•Collaborate with leaders across engineering, product management, data science, design, and operations and make decisions with founders and the CEO.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 215,500 - 296,500 annually

Equity and Bonus:Equity

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
•7+ years of experience in product at a high-growth tech startup or as a startup founder with experience working on complex Search systems
•Experience building high-scale products through state-of-the-art engineering and data science
•Regularly use ML/AI to solve business problems and are well-versed with recent advancements in the field
•Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, be relentlessly resourceful, and creatively solve tough problems
