Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and operate small turning production machine tools to machine forgings or stock according to customer requirements and specifications.
  • •Use a variety of cutting tools to complete turning operations.
  • •Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and gauges to ensure proper setups and machining operations.
  • •Read instructions and perform simple measurements to support accurate machining.
  • •Work 2nd shift Monday–Friday, with initial training on 1st shift for 60–90 days (7am–3pm).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 35.32 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of turning operation experience.
  • •Minimum 5 years of setup experience on horizontal or vertical lathes.
  • •Basic reading, math, and measurement comprehension, including ability to perform simple measurements.
  • •Ability to read instructions and perform simple measurements is critical.
  • •Completion of a Production Machine Operator Training Program or 3–5 years of previous machinist experience; experience with metal forgings and cutting soft jaws preferred.
