Job Summary

Support mill operations at the Neshoba Feed Mill by cleaning and maintaining operational areas, supporting ingredients receiving/unloading, and keeping the grounds and landscaping in working order. Operate and maintain tools and equipment used for cleaning, spills cleanup, and washdowns, while following Tyson health and safety protocols and biosecurity guidelines. This role works 2 pm–10 pm, Monday–Friday, with holiday and weekend coverage, and requires physical capability for the job’s demands.

Key Responsibilities

•Sweep and clean assigned mill areas, complete housekeeping, and sign off when tasks are finished.
•Assist with ingredients unloading activities (rail car/trucks) and clean up feed spills.
•Perform ground-keeping and landscaping duties using equipment such as mowers and trimmers.
•Use cleaning tools and equipment (e.g., blow guns, high-pressure water hoses) and operate equipment such as PIT to move pallets of ingredients.
•Follow Tyson health and safety protocols and biosecurity guidelines, communicate with operations customers and vendors when required, and complete other tasks assigned by management.

Key Requirements

•Must have six (6) months of operator experience with one employer within the last 12 (twelve) months.
•Must live within a 30-mile radius of the facility.
•Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs. with assistance and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
•Basic computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams, plus basic math skills.
•High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
