Key Responsibilities

•Design mechanical integration solutions for powertrain components and mounting interfaces on prototype aircraft.
•Design detailed metallic parts and assemblies to support powertrain mounting, structural interfaces, and system integration.
•Design inlet/exhaust ducting systems and thermal management systems for turboshaft engines and aircraft.
•Collaborate with aerothermal and structural analysts to optimize designs for performance, strength, stiffness, and fatigue.
•Own the prototype development process from requirements and BOM through procurement, assembly, testing, and verification.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 144,000 - 198,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of engineering experience.
•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
•Exposure to integrating air-breathing turbomachinery or propulsion systems (Turbofan, Turboshaft, etc).
•Proficient in CAD (Solidworks, NX, etc.) and able to manage complex assemblies in Teamcenter.
•Proficient in FEA using tools such as NASTRAN, ANSYS, or Abaqus and fluent in GD&T with manufacturing drawings.
