Job Summary

Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers and NC Programmers to support manufacturing of airfoils, disks, and hubs for military and commercial aircraft engines. Drive equipment procurement, qualification, and parallel machine installation plans to increase production rates starting in 2028. Support the mod center transformation, align priorities for process planning and N/C programming, grow team proficiency via training/OJT, and partner across functions to deliver customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers and NC Programmers supporting equipment procurement and qualification in the mod center.
•Develop strategy and phased plans for installing and qualifying multiple machines in parallel to support rate increases starting in 2028.
•Support mod center transformation, including cross-qualifying current processes/equipment and designing shop floor layout.
•Set and maintain priorities for process planning, N/C programming, process development, and implementation of new processes and capital equipment startup.
•Build team proficiency growth by aligning individual needs with formal/informal training, including OJT, and collaborate across functions to enable teamwork.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years’ experience in engineering, manufacturing, machine shop, operations management, project management, quality, or related industrial environment, or a Master’s degree and 7+ years’ experience.
•Understanding of continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma and LEAN.
•Prior experience in supervisory/management/lead capacity.
•Experience with conventional machining manufacturing processes.
•Project management experience, and U.S. citizenship is required.
