Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and operate AI-driven finance workflows for variance analysis, first-pass commentary, cohort/retention analysis, board metric refreshes, and recurring data pulls.
  • •Use AI across analysis, modeling, reporting, and commentary, leveraging Claude to speed analysis and pressure-test assumptions before numbers go out.
  • •Maintain financial planning and reporting responsibilities, including annual budgeting and quarterly/monthly forecasts, monthly reporting packages, and support during month-end close.
  • •Own core SaaS metrics (ARR/MRR, revenue retention, churn, CAC, LTV) and produce insights on customer/product/segment profitability.
  • •Partner cross-functionally (Sales, Marketing, Product, G&A) as the finance point of contact, and build trusted BI reports using a unified source of truth.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar analytical finance role, with demonstrated ability to build with AI.
  • •Experience building AI-assisted workflows (e.g., prompt-based reporting, scripting, or connecting AI tools to finance data sources) and validating outputs for correctness.
  • •Strong understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR/MRR, retention, churn, CAC, LTV) and the drivers behind them.
  • •Solid financial modeling experience with Excel/Google Sheets and a working knowledge of the three financial statements and subscription revenue recognition.
  • •Comfort with ERP, planning, and BI tools (e.g., NetSuite, Cube, QuickSight) and the ability to scope reporting needs with Data teams.
