Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership and expertise for a growing ground engineering practice.
  • •Lead geotechnical engineering projects, manage project budgets and schedules, and oversee subcontractors to ensure QA/QC and compliance.
  • •Mentor staff to support growth and professional development and provide performance guidance.
  • •Meet with client representatives to discuss issues related to engineering and construction challenges and programs.
  • •Collaborate across business lines to develop and support opportunities and projects with ground engineering components.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering with a geotechnical focus, or closely related discipline
  • •12+ years of relevant post education experience
  • •Professional engineering license in Georgia, or ability to become licensed in Georgia in six months
  • •Advanced proficiency with geotechnical engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, standard of care, and the application to project work-related issues
  • •Proficiency with technical writing, office automation, discipline-specific design software, technology, math principles, predictive models, spreadsheets, and tools
