Key Responsibilities

  • •Adhere strictly to company safety and Lock-Out-Tag-Out policies.
  • •Troubleshoot and maintain on-road equipment; periodically reclaim and service machines and heavy equipment.
  • •Examine equipment and discuss the nature and extent of damage or malfunction with the Shop Supervisor.
  • •Plan repair procedures and possible solutions, including redesign or substitution of parts/materials.
  • •Perform repairs and rebuilding of mechanical and electrical systems, including draining fluids/oil and replacing/adjusting components and accessories as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul construction mixers, dump trucks, mobile mechanical equipment, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems; familiar with maintenance and repair of diesel and gasoline engines.
  • •One year certificate from college or technical school preferred, or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Maintain a current driver’s license that meets state requirements.
  • •Must pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
  • •Must own mechanic tools required for work being performed.
