Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in the successful delivery of major development applications and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across various project types, while applying quality and health and safety principles.
  • •Provide planning advice to colleagues and clients on planning consent requirements and permitted development rights, and assist with planning feasibility reports and consent strategies.
  • •Write Planning Statements and Design and Access Statements for development applications; lead, submit, and manage planning applications with liaison and negotiation with local planning authorities and stakeholders.
  • •Collaborate with Environmental Impact Assessment team and participate in internal and external meetings.
  • •Contribute to the preparation of successful commercial tenders and carry out planning research and analysis for consent strategies.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (desirable).
  • •Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or equivalent (desirable).
  • •Demonstrable and relevant experience of working on planning applications.
  • •Sound knowledge of English planning policy and legislation.
  • •Commercial awareness and ability to write clearly and concisely.
