Key Responsibilities

  • •Pair daily with Soldiers by writing real production code side-by-side.
  • •Champion XP practices including test-driven development, continuous refactoring, and pair programming to maintain code quality.
  • •Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Designers, and Platform Engineers to build the right product with the right implementation.
  • •Guide the design, implementation, and deployment of robust full-stack applications using modern frameworks.
  • •Accelerate Soldier independence by coaching toward ownership of architecture and development and eventually leading teams.

Key Requirements

  • •3 years of experience as a software engineer.
  • •Proficiency in modern object-oriented coding languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, TypeScript, C++, Spring Boot, React).
  • •Ability to coach junior developers across planning, requirements, risk management, design, development, architecture, estimation, configuration management, quality, security, and tests.
  • •Fluency in test-driven development, lean methodology, and DevSecOps.
  • •Must have REAL ID and be eligible to obtain an Interim Secret clearance to start.
