Key Responsibilities

  • •Design integrations grounded in real healthcare workflows by translating customer requirements into interface, data-flow, and EHR configuration recommendations with clear tradeoffs and limitations.
  • •Resolve customer-specific EHR complexity by investigating scheduling rules, patient identity, permissions, and workflow dependencies to remove integration blockers.
  • •Guide integration readiness through go-live by defining setup requirements, dependencies, and validation criteria and supporting application registration, access provisioning, environment setup, and workflow testing.
  • •Bring EHR expertise to customer discovery by partnering with Sales and Sales Engineering to assess feasibility, explain integration requirements, and scope achievable projects.
  • •Shape the healthcare integration roadmap by evaluating vendor capabilities and emerging needs, distinguishing reusable platform capabilities from customer-specific configuration and implementation work.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in healthcare interoperability or EHR implementation with direct responsibility for designing or delivering integrations.
  • •Deep expertise in at least one major EHR ecosystem (e.g., Epic, athenahealth, Oracle Health, eClinicalWorks, MEDITECH) including integration options and implementation processes.
  • •Practical knowledge of patient-access workflows such as scheduling, registration, or referral management and how operational rules affect integration behavior.
  • •Technical fluency with healthcare integrations, including reading API documentation and troubleshooting requests/responses and configuration issues using FHIR, HL7v2, vendor APIs, or file-based exchange.
  • •Experience taking third-party integrations through deployment, including application registration, authentication/permissions, test and production environments, workflow validation, and go-live dependencies.
