Job Summary

Serve as a consultant in Esri’s Professional Services, partnering directly with Federal Earth Sciences and Environment agencies to translate requirements into actionable technical work. Recommend strategies, architectures, and solutions for enterprise implementations, migrations, and change management. Collaborate with technical consultants and subject matter experts to deliver mission-critical outcomes, while supporting proposals, project cost/scope/schedule tracking, and best-practice development for GIS usage.

•Gather customer requirements and translate them into actionable technical work as a liaison between Professional Services and customers.
•Contribute to proposals and estimates to expand Esri technology into new mission areas and emerging opportunities.
•Collaborate with technical consultants and subject matter experts to deliver mission-critical customer outcomes.
•Manage project cost, scope, and schedule; track work to ensure timely deliverables.
•Build a network of virtual team members across Esri to identify and create best practices for GIS usage.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of professional experience in consulting or project delivery on IT-based projects.
•Experience leveraging GIS software capabilities including mapping, spatial analysis/data science, 3D visualization/analytics, data management, and developer APIs.
•Ability to translate customer business goals, objectives, and strategies into technical solutions.
•Ability to engage clients and translate science into geospatial solutions.
•US citizenship and ability to maintain a US Government Public Trust; bachelor’s degree in geography, GIS, information systems, earth/health/social sciences, or a STEM-related field.
