Shop Diesel Mechanic I

Perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a shop environment. Use hand tools, precision instruments, and diesel and welding equipment; document work on repair orders and DOT forms using a company-issued device and Karmak. Maintain a safe, clean workplace, manage concurrent tasks, support the service writer and shop team with repair estimates, and adhere to OSHA/EPA/DOT and company safety training.
