  • •Serve as a senior technical expert for Oracle database and middleware services, administering complex production environments and providing technical guidance.
  • •Lead troubleshooting and performance optimization across databases, middleware, operating system, connectivity, and applications using root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • •Maintain secure and compliant environments through hardening, vulnerability remediation, security patching, access management, and security baselines.
  • •Lead database and middleware lifecycle initiatives including installations, upgrades, migrations, platform modernization, and high availability/disaster recovery improvements across on-prem and cloud.
  • •Develop automation, scripts, engineering standards, and technical documentation to improve reliability and efficiency; mentor other engineers and support incident/change management and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/BA and 6+ years of relevant IT experience (or equivalent experience).
  • •Hands-on Oracle database administration in complex production environments, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, backup/recovery, performance tuning, and high availability/disaster recovery.
  • •Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting enterprise middleware technologies, including configuration, patching, performance, security, and application integration.
  • •Advanced troubleshooting across databases, middleware, operating systems, storage, networking, and applications with root-cause analysis.
  • •Experience securing database and middleware environments via vulnerability remediation, hardening, access management, encryption, certificate management, and security baselines.
