Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, and process simplification for accurate financial reporting and analysis.
  • •Own general accounting and policy/process administration across cycles including inventory, revenue recognition, receivables/payables, and intercompany activities across West Africa.
  • •Interpret enterprise standards, SOPs, and process maps to deliver accounting services and advise functional managers on approaches and procedures.
  • •Lead controllership initiatives across the region, including accountability for controllership metrics, and ensure controllership and compliance of finance documentation.
  • •Strengthen internal controls and collaborate with corporate functions and the finance team to implement new accounting standards and address internal control/SOX deficiencies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, or Business.
  • •7 years of finance experience, including 3 years in a lead or supervisory position.
  • •Experience in a Finance Controllership role.
  • •Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships.
  • •Experience leading or working with teams to deliver projects and initiatives.
