Key Responsibilities

  • •Process deposits, loan payments, check cashing, savings withdrawals, night/mail deposits, cashier’s checks, and savings bond redemptions.
  • •Answer client questions in person and over the telephone and process additional transactions as needed, including preparing currency transaction reports.
  • •Identify cross-sell and referral opportunities, understand client needs, and direct clients to a banker.
  • •Complete special client requests (e.g., closing accounts, ordering checks, exchanging foreign currency, special statements/copies, referrals, safe-deposit box procedures) and process consumer credit card applications.
  • •Reconcile cash drawers (counting, packaging currency/coin, submitting excess/mutilated currency) and comply with bank operations and security procedures, maintaining confidentiality.
