Job Summary

Lead front-line production operations on the plant floor, overseeing the full production process from yield tracking to real-time adjustments. Ensure safety, USDA health standards, HACCP, and USDA regulations are met, while enforcing food safety and quality plans. Supervise and coach hourly production employees, run daily floor walkthroughs and monthly line meetings, and track yields/efficiencies to improve workflows, reduce downtime, and minimize costs.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform daily production-floor inspections to identify unsafe conditions and take immediate corrective action.
•Lead safety audits, champion ergonomic initiatives, and ensure adherence to HACCP and USDA regulations.
•Maintain product quality by enforcing Food Safety and Food Quality plans and training employees on safe operating procedures (including lock-out/tag-out).
•Track and analyze production yields, efficiencies, and variances, working with Operations Managers and Supervisors to improve workflows and equipment use to minimize downtime and reduce costs.
•Direct and guide hourly production employees, lead monthly line meetings, and run daily floor walkthroughs to keep safety, quality, and production goals on track.

•Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field plus 2+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent education and experience).
•Experience leading others by training, coaching, mentoring, or managing a process or project.
•Strong oral and written communication and the ability to lead problem-solving for complex process issues with solid analytical and math skills.
•Ability to motivate, train, and coach employees to achieve peak performance while fostering a positive, respectful, team-oriented environment.
•Adaptability to fast-paced environments, including working varying conditions and being willing to work long hours and weekends when needed.
