Key Responsibilities

  • •Adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules, including daily safety meetings, safety inductions, and inspections.
  • •Drive or ride in a light vehicle to observation opportunities and observe operations as directed.
  • •Document field observations in written Daily Observation Reports.
  • •Observe and report wildlife presence in visible range, and assist with exploration activities such as soil sampling, environmental monitoring, geophysics, drilling, and reclamation.
  • •Observe and assist with water sample collection and support ongoing monitoring of water intake locations to protect fish habitat, while sharing learnings with community members, IRA Councils, and City Council.
